Solution to “Sorry, this Adobe app is not available” error, theoretically applicable to both MacOS and Windows.

Open the hosts file.

Click “Finder -> Go to Folder” and enter “/etc” in the pop-up window, then press Enter to open the folder. Find the hosts file in the folder, drag it to the desktop, and then right-click it and select “Open With -> TextEdit”.

Download AdobeURL IP block list Adobe-URL-Block-List.txt.

Copy and paste the entire content of AdobeURL IP block list to the end of the hosts file and save it. Then drag the hosts file from the desktop to the “/etc” folder to complete the file replacement operation. Alternatively, use SwitchHosts to open and modify the hosts file.

Open the Terminal program, enter the following command to flush the DNS cache:

sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder && sudo dscacheutil -flushcache

- Re-open Adobe app, theoretically the issue should be resolved.
